#349.  The day after I bought this shirt at Disneyland, it was pulled off the shelves and became an instant collector's item.  I had to decide, would I keep this shirt or make a quick buck.  HA!  Like that was an option.

So my shirt collection grows, and added to it is the currently hot Mickey Mouse Unknown Pleasures design.  I wore this to KCRW, figuring a couple of people would know about this.  And sure enough, as soon as I walked in, the shirt was spotted by another volunteer who wanted to know how I scored this sought after design.  I was happy to report that I was lucky enough to score it at a Disneyland gift shop on Monday, the day before it was pulled off the shelves.

And for those who don't know the story http://www.billboard.com/news/disney-pulls-joy-division-inspired-shirt-1005988152.story#/news/disney-pulls-joy-division-inspired-shirt-1005988152.story

#346.  A little snack break between Wilco shows.  I have never worn this shirt before and it still had the tag from Mervyn's on it.

#344.  Decided to give some thematic unity to the 3 Wilco shows in Los Angeles.  Wore this Pernice Brothers shirt the first night at the Palladium.

#342.  Heading to San Diego to see Wilco, and paying tribute to Nels by wearing Geraldine Fibbers shirt.  I think this falls outside the rule of not wearing shirt of the band I'm seeing.

#340.  Gearing up for this week's run of Wilco shows.  And I'm sure to end up with at least one more shirt in a couple of days.

#339.  After seeing 3 shows in Los Angeles on the Licks Tour (Angel Stadium, Staples Center and the coveted Wiltern Show), and one show in San Jose, you would think I'd have enough Stones to last a while.  But  the idea of seeing a FREE STONES SHOW, especially after the most memorable free Stones show ended up a textbook entry in the category of category, was too much.

Tickets for the free Staples show were to be distributed in a lottery, and I gamely entered this drawing hoping for the best.  But no luck.  I was only slightly disappointed, since the Halloween Staples show a few months earlier was my least favorite Stones show in this run, and I really despise that venue.

However, on the day of the show KLOS announced they were going to release tickets at Ticketmaster outlets. At this point, the online ticketing system had pretty much taken over lining up at record stores, so Paul Serchia and I  ran to the nearest Ticketmaster outlet we were aware of (Ritmo Latino on Santa Monica).Of course we weren't the only one with this information, so we cued up behind other hopefuls, willing to take even the worst seat in a venue that only seems to have bad seats.

Sadly, it seemed luck wasn't on our side as they guy in front of us got what appeared to be the last pair of tickets.  Undefeated we hung around, and the clerk did something I don't think I ever saw a Ticketmaster clerk do before.  He kept trying and trying and trying.  I don't think he was a Stones fan, but he knew how much it meant to the people in line to score a ticket.  This guy tried for over 10 minutes, and suddenly more tickets were released!  We got our tickets, thanked him profusely, and walked out of Ritmo with a skip in our steps.  Heck, I even thought about sending the clerk flowers in thanks.

I enjoyed this show more than the Halloween show the past October.  The sound was better where I sat, and this show had Bill Clinton introduce the band.  The set didn't have any real surprises, although we did get Bitch, Wild Horses and All Down The Line and fortunately did not get their misguided cover of Love Train.
All in all, another special evening with The Rolling Stones.

#338.  10 years after releasing their last album of all new material, Zenith, The Jigsaw Seen came back swinging in 2010 with what may be their best album to date, Bananas Foster.  This time it looks like they  are keeping the momentum going since last year they released an album of all new Christmas themed songs, Winterland, and word is they are already back in the studio creating the follow-up.

#336.  Today's secret word is "bitchin'".  This vintage Pee Wee's Playhouse shirt from 1987 has clearly seen better days.  The shirt is so thin that I need to wear another shirt under it as to not expose too much.   But how could I not document a shirt this bitchin'?

#332.  Another vintage Ren & Simpy shirt.  I might have enough shirts to wear a different one for every day of the year, and in that year it appears I could devote an entire week to Ren & Stimpy.
