#188. Not just one of the best albums of the 80's, Echo and the Bunnyman's 1984 album Ocean Rain is among my favorite albums of all times.
Following the harsh and slightly difficult Porcupine, Echo and the Bunnymen added strings and dreamier arrangements to their sound and really nailed it.
This shirt is from the Club Nokia show where they played they entire album. Sadly, I didn't think they nailed the album. It took a few songs for Ian to get warmed up, but by the time they were recreating side two, things started to gel.
However, the second set of classics tore the roof off the Nokia. Maybe they should have warmed up with Crocodiles before tearing into Ocean Rain.
